Yeah no one... The only reason britney's was bigger was because it was first, not to mention christina's wasn't focused on as far as the camera goes.

i think britney and christina work. like madonna, most probably thought britney would just have one album and be a young pop star with no future in the business. and christina is the other young pop star who's the biggest next to britney out right now. also, they "feud" between britney and christina make the performance bigger.

It would be interesting to see what the J-Lo version would be like, but I have to say, Christina did the job quite well. Putting J-Lo in there would've been like putting a peice into a jigsaw puzzle that looks like it fits, and it loosely fits, but the right peice (Christina) would've been eaten by the cat if it hadn't been put in there.

J-Lo would've lipsanc, I really liked Christina's voice. And I absolutely loved the way Christina came waltzing around that cake. I dont know what it was about it, but I just thought it was so cool. I think the camera angle and the way she waved her bouquet just fit perfectly.

However, I get the feeling that J-Lo's veil would've stayed hanging infront of her face a little longer. Christina had to lift hers up so soon because there was no mistaking that voice. Britney's wasn't very distinguishable, so she was able to hold of the "surprise" a little longer, as would have J-Lo. But I liked how as soon as she said "like a virgin" you KNEW it was Christina.

But, I'd definitely stay with Christina. The fact that it was Britney and Christina makes way more sense than Britney and J-Lo. Simply because you've basically got the royal family. And although J-Ho is popular, she is no where NEAR the royal family of pop divas. Or any generation of royality for that matter.

Good topic though. I was waiting for this, and was about to make it myself.

J.Lo was keen to run away from it. My God, Madonna has the Star Power, Britney has the looks to dtop traffic, Christina's vocal ability shakes the house with soul...and then there'd a been J.Hoe. She does in no shape or form fit next to Madonna, she's stuck-up, a biatch, not the right style, and ain't pretty enough to stand next to britney or madonna. Chrissy fit the part perfectly and haw rude are ya'll for dissin' on Chrissy like this, she's awesome and you're jealous and dang you gotta be nicer. Christina was not forgotten at all, in fact she was probably paid more attention to since she was J.lo's replacement. Not alot of people knew who it was gonna be. and it was perfect...shoot best VMA performance EVER!!!

No. Christina didn't became less popular.. she just stayed the way she was and that wasn't SO popular like Brit. If Christina kissed Madonna first, I think articles would show both pics but no way they'll take Britney's pic out. And the Britney kiss was almost as long as the Christina one, even though they cut some of Christina's kiss, you could see the kiss with Britney was hotter. Christina looked like she was.... straight. LMFAO it is not a bad thing but the Britney and Madonna kiss was so lesbian.... hehe. AND you are NOT going to deny most of the world prefers seeing Britney being dirrrrty than Christina. Like... she is considered sexier or whatever.
