What do you you all think the summer song of this year will be? Lastyear I think it was obvious, 'Crazy In Love,' by Beyonce was the song everyone heard EVERYWHERE! But what do you think it will be this year? (i put my candidates in catagories since i think that there will be a lot)

Rap/Hip-Hop:
I can definately see Usher's, 'Confessions Pt.2,' being huge until July-August and 'Burn,' will probably huge until at least July. The next D12 will be big as well. But I think, 'Roses,' by Oukast, their next single, and Nelly's comeback single from his next album(s) will be the biggest.

Pop/Dance: Britney's, 'Everytime,' will be the summer's biggest ballad most likely. It will end up as one of the songs everyone slow dances to. Also her next single, no matter what it is will probably blow up. Hilary Duff ft.Hayley Duff 'Our Lips are Sealed, Christina Milian 'Dip It Low,' and Jessica Simpson's 'Angels' will be huge also.

Rock: Evanescene's (or however it is spelt) 'Everybody's Fool' will be a hit or miss, either it does a 'MI' or it flops. Maroon 5's 'She Will Be Loved,' will be the HUGE follow up to 'This Love.'

Other: None of these will be the biggest, I bet something waaaaay out of left field will hit us and become huuuuuuuuuge. lol

Umm I think it's way too early to tell. I think "Talk About Our Love" by Brandy and Kanye should be...definitely. Who knows though. I'd say "Overnight Celebrity" by Twista but that's more of a Spring song (?)

Hmmm...I'm thinking "The Reason" by Hoobastank. MTV has already beaten the song to death. Now I hate it.

yea hoobastank got old fast, same with beyonce and mario winans. i dont think it's too early to tell considering most of the newer songs now will be the ones who will be hot in june-august. but yea a LOT of songs will come out b/t now and then.

Usher should release "Caught Up" next...is that the name of it? Number 7 on his CD? I have a burned copy so I'm not too up on the titles...that song is HOT.

"Dip It Low" gets my vote...I LOVE that song! It's just awesome.

I don't really think Britney or Jessica will have any big success with their songs this summer. Unless Britney planned to release "The Hook Up" or "Outrageous" this summer..."Everytime" and "Angels" aren't summer songs...summer songs have to be upbeat. No one wants to remember their summer as some sad depressing song such as Everytime, ya know?
