I'm glad you said SOME of the people who say they love them (Evanescence), because I'm one of the people who says that I love their music, and I know all the songs on their record. I'd really love to get a hold of their independent album, but I haven't the slightest idea as to where to look. I do agree with you though, it is quite annoying when people say they love Evanescence (or any band or artist for that matter) but they don't know any material other than what they've released.

As for the love to hate thing, there are people on that list who annoy me, but I just don't pay attention to them. It's not like they're going to disappear off the face of the earth if I don't like them, so, I see no point in focusing any energy on them.

I guess another one of my issues is, at least here where i live, they've put Evanescence up on a pedestal since they came out. All of a sudden they were pushed to the top and everyone is all ga-ga over them. Like Amy is the first chick ever to rock out on a mic.

I read an interview on a site that she said how they have been working SOOOO hard and deserve this more than anything else. "We've been working so hard... for like.. a year." She talks like she's the best and only chick out there in rock, and that irks me a little bit. She's said a few things publicly like that, and she may be young, but in the business you gotta learn to watch what you say, especially when you're in a new, up and coming band.

And Red, by the way... Have you heard the new KoRn song?! I heard it on the radio today... I definately need to get another listen at it!

I think this new album is gonna be something to hear!

I try to see some good in almost everybody, but there are a few that make it really difficult. JT is the main one. I cant stand huge egos.

It aggravates me that people think she IS the only chick out there in the rock scene. Its so fucking... uh, there are plenty of other chicks rocking out. It isnt just Amy Lee and Evanescence. I'm trying not to sound like an asshole here.

Thats so true. Especially in the music business, people can very fickle. You say one thing, you do one thing or you come off as being cocky, it can scar you for the rest of your career. Look at (I hate to bring her up) Christina, she said she would never take off her clothes, then "Strriped" came along and people hated her for it. Called her a hypocrite. Its sad but people can be very fickle and if your a new up and coming artist/band its even worse. You really gotta watch you say and do.

Dude, I just saw the video on MTV. FUCKING AWESOME!!

Not the best video but its good enough to hold me till the new album comes out. Which I know is gunna rock. What I loved about the video was that Angelina Jolie sings along with Jonathan! I was like "Fuck Yeah!". The song kicks ass by itself but watching a little duet in the video, I dunno I fucking loved it cause Angelina rocks and so does KoRn.

Im gunna try to find the video in mpg format for ya if you havent seen it.

Avril. It has nothing to do with Britney, I just think Avril is a bitch who thinks shes the first girl to ever wear baggy pants and a tie and she tells her fans they need to get lives.

I mean, some of them do but thats not the point. It's stupid to yell at your fans and she is just in general a total bitch
