After a few months of listening to fans complain, Joel Madden fnally updated his online blog yesterday in Winnepeg. He took some time to plug the songs him and twin brother Benji have done for Hilary Duff's new CD.

July 20, 2005 Posted: hey everybody, well its been a long time since i've posted in my blog and everynight on the tour when i go out to sign, one of you says something. so here i am. things are good in my life right now. just on the road. asia was awesome. everytime i go there i wonder why i dont live there yet. anyways, i'm excited to be in canada. the shows here always rule.

i'm trying to think of any new music i want you guys to check out. well of course you could check out the songs we produced for hilary. that shit sounds great. im serious. her best work yet. i love pop music, but most of the time there is always something wrong with it. like the lyrics are too cheesy, or the music is to overdone or just something is off. the dead executive stuff we did with hilary is right on it. its like the perfect mix of 80's new wave and dance. i cant stop listening to it. so you kids look out for that, you'll be surprised, gonna be bobbin your little heads to miss hilary duff.

lets see what else am i diggin right now? well i really like bloc party and i've been stuck on gwen stefani's album. i also have been listening to alot of synth pop stuff like apoptygma berzerk and asemblege 23, and vnv nation. i could go on and on about all this stuff. i have been on my ipod 24/7 these days. i'm excited for thrice's new record if they would put it out already! and i cant wait for the new good charlotte! oh yeah did i mention we are gonna be workin on a new one soon. i dont know exactly when, but very soon. i think i'm gonna take like a month or two off at home and work on my car. i just bought a 1965 chevy impala convertable. i'll post some pix when i'm done. i also want to get some tattoos if i could my lazy ass in the chair for more than an hour. i'm so lazy when it comes to tattoos. i should have been done a long time ago. so anyways, sorry it took so long to post. i promise i will try to get better. you kids be good. wanna check out a funny website? www.pinkisthenewblog.com, this guy is funny. i always laugh at it atleast. anything else?? nope i think thats it. see you kids later.
