| Hilary releasing a Greatest Hits (Benji and Joel contibuting..) | | LOS ANGELES — Hilary Duff has recruited a pair of very good friends to bring some rock to her forthcoming LP, Most Wanted.
The 17-year-old recently said that Good Charlotte frontman (and rumored boyfriend) Joel Madden and his twin brother, Benji, wrote and produced three songs for the album. The disc will be a collection of the singer's most popular songs, along with four brand-new tracks.
"It's awesome because they're three of my favorite songs I've ever done," Duff said Saturday during an event promoting her new film, "The Perfect Man." "It was really fun being in the studio with them."

| *gives Hilary a boost onto the Greatest Hits bandwagon*
So they say it'll have four new songs. So in total, that's what? Six? I've only heard of "Come Clean" and "Fly", where the fuck is she muttering up the rest of this album from?
P.S. I hope Benji and Joel pump out some good tunes. I'm not much of a fan of the one they did for Ashlee. |

"It's awesome because they're three of my favorite songs I've ever done," Duff said Saturday during an event promoting her new film, "The Perfect Man." "It was really fun being in the studio with them."
The actress/singer, whose multiplatinum 2003 debut LP, Metamorphosis, spawned the hits "So Yesterday" and "Come Clean," is more than ready to undergo a musical transformation of her own.
"[These songs are] a totally different sound. The first one we're going to release is very dancey, kind of pop — not '80s, but kind of with that in it, so it's very fun. Another is more techno, like DJ Sammy almost, and the third one is a pop-punk song, more like [Good Charlotte's] music," she said.
The album is slated for release on August 16, but for now, fans can catch the actress in "The Perfect Man," alongside fellow blonde beauty Heather Locklear. In the film, out June 17, Holly, Duff's character, concocts a plan to rev up her single mother's self-esteem by delivering her "the perfect man," an imaginary secret admirer who appears to be just what her mom is looking for.
In other movie news, she will also reprise her role as Lorraine, Steve Martin's daughter, in the sequel "Cheaper by the Dozen 2," which is slated for release next year.
Finally, the multitasking young star will be hitting the road this summer for an extensive cross-country musical trek — the Still Most Wanted Tour — kicking off July 12 in Los Angeles and wrapping September 25 in Puyallup, Washington (see "Hilary Duff Lines Up 32 Summer Dates").

However, Hilary has achieved neither of those. |

— Brandee J. Tecson | Thats the one I posted, but I cut it.
She's had more the two hit songs though. Not enough to warrent a GH, but she has had more then two.
01. "Why Not?"
02. "So Yesterday"
03. "Come Clean"
04. "Fly"
05. "Our Lips Are Sealed"
You have to take into consideration WHERE she's big. Her songs do amazing on Radio Disney. The people requesting her there dont care how long she's been out, or how many hits she's had.
Sidenote: My mom and I want to see "The Perfect Man". It looks cute. <3 |
