Hilary Duff is loving the single life, because for the first time in years she gets to make decisions for herself.

Duff ended her longterm relationship with Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden last year, and insists she's too busy learning about herself to look for another man.

The 19-year-old says, "The last thing I want right now is to be in a relationship. When you're in a relationship you make decisions based on what's good for both you and someone else. So now it's nice to make decisions based on what I want - it's empowering."

Whether you were the boyfriend or girlfriend, it's always nice to take a break from a relationship after a long time of being together. I think we all can relate to that in one way or another.

Eh, at 19, she's too young to be tied down, anyway. Most likely, if she were to get married at that age, she'd just be another in the long list of failed marriages.

i think if u really love someone it does not matter what age you are because love is based on certainty and trust. She saying now that she doesnt want another relationship but trust me if the right fella came along she would be head over heels. anyway i think the black wig in her new video suits her. she looks alot more grown up. heres a pic of her
