Not at all for two main reasons:

1. The group of people that I hang around with like all kinds of music and can listen to anything.
2. We don't talk about music that often other than "Did you hear that new song by......" "yeah it was good/shit". That is about it.

We talk about other stuff mainly.

Definatly, my friends LEFT me cuz I listen to nfg/ all american rejects. They listen to jack off jill and system of a down which isnt my type of music but I dont go around saying "they suck" like they do about what I like.

not really... some of my friends like rap and others like britney and others like the jason mraz type of music so i listen to all types and its not really a problem

Ummm not really. I guess just because I listen to ALL music. Literally. So a lot of people come to me to talk about music stuff so it's sort of the opposite for me I guess? LMAO I dunno.

I feel out of place with them at times. One of my friends still calls me a "teenybopper" and I HATE it. First of all, I'm 19. Second of all, I do still listen to Christina, Nick Carter, BSB, Nsync, and some others who might be considered "teenybopperish", but I'm not obsessesd with them, nor do I act like a freaking psycho when their name comes up and I don't dedicate my every waking hour to them. Thirdly, I like all kinds of music. But pop and rock happen to be the ones that I identify with most and the ones that I listen to most.

My best friend likes Dashboard Confessional, and I really don't. She's into all those "punk" bands, and I'm not. She hates Britney, but I don't really care. But yeah, I do feel out of place sometimes.

Not with all of it, but with a lot of it. Most of my "friends" like all the over-rated shit...and they aren't really into hip-hop. Hip-hop is the majority of what I listen to and none of them love it like I do. It sucks. I could never go to rap concerts because my mom was like, "Who are you gonna go with?" and NO ONE wanted to go

Well, I don't exactly listen to everything my friends do but it doesn't make me feel out of place.

I listen to a lot of underground stuff...and darker stuff which my friends don't listen to. (They tend to gravitate toward the top 40 hip-hop/pop stuff) But it's not like I don't listen to other stuff. I keep up with the times. However, I get a lot of talk about my obsession with Michael Jackson's music...but I have my best friend with me on that one so I'm not completely alone.
