You mean you heard her usual "woo's" and "uh's". There was only two or three words she sang out of the entire song and that was in the second verse/chorus during the remix. It's obvious she lipped it, her mouth was open like a cow chompin' on grass or like she was chewing bubble gum, and the vocals didn't have a live sound. They had a studio effect to them.
There was nothing "live" about that performance. While it was a great show, I have to say I'm disappointed after she said she wasn't gonna lipsync. It's sad, in fact. She did it so well on TRL and I was proud of her. While I understand this was a bigger audience by millions than TRL and a great way to promote the single/album to those who know nothing about it, I think she needs to break away from the whole pre-recorded thing. But, she was right IN A WAY...she DIDN'T lipsync it...she pre-recorded live vocals, THEN lipsank those. But nonetheless, it was a great performance and she looked awesome on the red carpet and on stage.
Dont exactly know why... There wasn't anything really wrong with it, but it just didn't hit the right buttons I guess.
