| Not A Girl on Billboards? | | What's up, I haven't seen it debut yet on the Hot 100..
Anyway, I think she'll be better received with this ballad but only time will tell. Most radio stations are playing her already and have been playing her in advance, so maybe next week we'll get an official debut..
I think she'll get another 70ish drop in, I'm not sure she'll make a big splash. It's too early to make a prediction.

I don't understand your line of conduct... | I was underlining that by your own standards in the way you trashed Alisha Keys and Nelly Furtado in calling them fake when they write, sing and even produce their own songs. I don't think either of them deserved that bashing just b/c you don't happen to like their music and I was using your own standards in basing those comments, thus my flaming post. And you better believe it pop is in decline, *shrug*, Nsync, BSB, Britney, (yes, Britney), all of the earlier leading artists of the teen pop craze are no longer at their peak. If you can't see that there's no reason in arguing with you, this isn't just a personal opinion but substantiated fact.
What are you so surprised about my post? Confused that I don't go your way in bashing someone.. Well, first of all I don't remotely hate her. Second of all, I'm not 12 years old, I'm capable of actually having neutrally pinned interests and analysis, and I call things like I see them.
Hmm.. I'm going to continue this in the other posts.

And Gummie, I'll be joining you in that topic tomorrow again, for it's getting late here, so I need some sleep. FAST! |

| It's too early for it to debut, I doubt it has been released on radio yet. Look at "Ain't it Funny" by Jennifer Lopez it has been out for over a month and it barely debuted last week.

Its called Lovin U, all she did was write the lyrics.
ANYWAYS Not A Girl hasnt been out long enough to debut yet. |

| I think that "I'm Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman" will debut in the upper 60's or lower 70's on the Billboard Hot 100 in 3-4 weeks. Despite the fact that it is already receiving airplay, it'll generally take a few weeks to be picked up everywhere. It'll probably lack airplay and depending on if a commercial single is released, it won't peak very high. I think that this song will target an older audience, and if it does like "Don't Let Me Be..." then it won't receive much airplay. Let's hope for the best, though! |
