 Kelis arrested | |
Kelis has been arrested in Miami after a fracas involving undercover police officers, according to reports.
The US star is understood to have been apprehended and charged in the early hours of Friday on Miami Beach.
She faces accusations of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest without violence, after allegedly trying to disrupt the undercover operation.
According to the police report, Kelis charged at the officers while shouting racial profanities, before being restrained by friends.
Her husband, Nas, is understood to have been amongst a group of people who were talking to the undercover officers at the time of her outburst.
Kelis has been freed on bail, pending further investigations.
