did she? i was wondering about it! the last time i read she was at 1.8....she should have reached the 2M mark by know...

Actually, as far as I know, in December it was already certified double platinum (2,000,000 copies). In fact, if you do some research in the searchable database of RIAA, they state what I've said above. Worldwide, ITZ seems to have sold at least 5,000,000 copies (it was in the top positions of the charts in many countries).

I hope "Toxic" will enjoy a great success and help ITZ climb the charts everywhere!!!

World Wide - She will reach 4 million this weekend.

Being certified double platinum does not mean that the record has sold 2 000 000 copies. It simply only means that there have been two million copies shipped to record stores.

Yeah apparently ww it has shipped 6 million.
But its only sold 4 million.
Certifications are for amounts shipped not amounts sold.
