For anyone who doesn't know the performance was fantastic and her singing was live and incredible. Yeah.. If you were sitting in the audience.

Because our "good friends" (haha) at the television station that aired that special (I think it was CBS) decided to play the audio track over top of her actual live singing..

I still remember that night clearly.. Many of us were throughly upset with that.. Dub over live singing?! What's up with that.

It wasn't lipsynched. If you watch it, you can hear her "ooow"'s and the track over it, she says it a millisecond before the track plays it. And uh, why would Pharrell lipsynch?

Oh, and at the beginning, the music is off a little. Aaaaaand Britney's "woo" at the beginning of the first chorus is obviously cut off; you can hear it, but not very well.

A fan who attended the concert once wrote that Britney sounded great. I was dissapointed that (NBC?) dubbed it.

yeah yeah yeah

I remember, the performance itself was awesome, cuz that was the second time we saw Britney perform live on TV with someone else (First time was with Wacko Jacko, I believe, but I could be mistaken)

and everyone was complaining that it was dubbed and what not, and it clearly was, cuz at the beginning the audience fades out, and normal audiences don't do that.
