Hmm... gimme a Nintendo GameCube and a copy of Star Wars: Rouge Squadron II - that'd make me much happier than an XBox I think

( although the XBox does look quite nifty with Halo and stuff... )

( if only I had any money... )

It dropped to that price here a couple of weeks ago - after poor sales for its first month of release.... it had already dropped in Europe too hadn't it?

PS2 is about $US225 now and the Gamecube will be $US175 when it's released next week (finally

) - my prediction : one more price drop 2/3 months before Christmas for them all and then the price will remain steady...

Hopefully by then I might have the cash to buy one too.

Yep, it already dropped about 3 weeks ago over here

but then you won't have a DVD player, music ripper, or tons of games, you'll just be waiting months for Mario and Zelda, and then nothing else will come out, I'm sorry, but Nintendo screwed me with the N64, it had no good games.

xbox has 2 Stars Wars games already, and they're originals, not rehashes from the N64.

Oh, yeah... the textures used in SW:RSII for the X-Wings are the ORIGINAL textures from the (first three) movies...

I have a cube and I'm happy with it. The only reason I want an Xbox is for Halo, and its coming out for PC this year anyways.
