WTC site proposals? - Eternal Allegiance

What would you guys put in the site that was once the World Trade Center? I would put some steel beams up and construct a model of the metal frames of the towers. Then I would make a plaque with all the victims names in dedication to 9/11. The plaque would also have a statue of a crying fireman. Then I'd put some fountains, some shrubbery, and some benches. The ground would be all marble.

They're rebuilding the towers right by the site..or was it on the site? I don't remember. But that's a good idea, Jerod.

I don't think they are. They haven't come up with anything official yet on what they are gonna do.

I've heard a lot of things, but most of all i keep hearing that in one way or another, they WILL rebuild the buildings... i think it's wrong... to just rebuild over it... But nothing we can do about it.

Yeah I agree. It's wrong to rebuild new towers over a sacred place, where lots of people died. It's like building a city over Native-American graves. It's completely disrespectful. I'd rather have them build a memorial on that site. If they are going to rebuild the towers, they should build it in another location.

I definately agree with you there. SOME kind of memorial.... ANY kind... would be absolutely wonderful. Especially since i live pretty close, that's what i would like to see go there.

they should rebuild the towers. i dont care if ppl say it is wrong or its sacred land its is the right thing to do. if we dont rebuild the towers it shows the terrorists that they have won. they have started to rebuild the buildings around WTC that were knocked down and they should do the same with the twin towers. a main reason the first projects were rejected was because they didnt make any attempts to rebuild the tower. REBUILD THE TOWERS

Well if so, they should at least have a plaque or small memorial next to the towers.

yeah they should have something but the whole thing shouldnt be made into a memorial.
