| Would it be the same? | | If the presidential election was tomorrow, and it that it was Gore vs. Bush like in the 2000 election, who do you think would win the popular vote?
I think Gore would probably win popular again, even after Bush has gone far out of his way to show he could handle the job (especially with September 11th). |

| Gore would most likely win popular, but Bush, even though he is a complete dumbass and has done nothing good for this country, would still win. |

I hate how people say Bush has done so much for 9/11. He did what any other President would do... But whatever. |

| UGH. I'm tired of even having a president. The entire fate of our country lies on one man's mouth. Say one wrong word, and innocent people die. How fun, no? Sorry- I ain't all for having rulers anyway.
I wanna know what George Bush did so good for 9/11....he ran away, hid, came out and talked, then hid again. Then nothing...? |

| Bush.
Al Gore is such a sore loser! "I WANT A RECOUNT!" What kind of president would that be? And Bush decided to clean up the 9/11 attacked buildings. Al Gore would just say "IT'S GONNA TAKE TIME, BUT WE WILL FIX IT!" or "WE CANNOT GO INTO WAR! WE ARE TOO GROWN UP FOR THAT!" I mean, what kind of preisdent always does that? It's just annoying!

#6 | | | I think Gore would win. Bush is too worried about that war on terrorism and the current Hussein issue. In fact, he's so worried that he's not taking care of the problems that are happening right now in our own country. Many people have complained on the news that he is not taking care of things like crime and other things that need the most attention. I believe he came to do what he wants, and leave everything else to decay. | |

I hate partisan politics because both sides are hypocrites. They demonize the other party for the same things that they do. Personally, i think that the country is still split on Bush-Gore. |

I wanna know what George Bush did so good for 9/11....he ran away, hid, came out and talked, then hid again. Then nothing...? | Bush or any other President didnt get the terrorists to attack the WTC it was the Saudi Government. Back in the Gulf War Osama Bin Laden offered to protect his own country with his men that fought in Afghanistan against the russians but they turned him down and went with the USA. This made Bin Laden upset and he felt that he was betrayed but the Saudi Government and was a stranger in his own country. Bin Laden didnt hate the USA right away but he did have anger towards us. While fighting another war in Afghanistan he was given money and weapons to fight the war from us the USA. so u can say that we supplied them with weapons that they probably used against us and the ppl of afghanstain.
You need to understand that on 9/11 Bush needed to be in a safe place because he is the commander in chief. He controls the countrys armed forces. They also didnt know where a safe place could be so they went up to 45,000 feet. Bush wanted to go back to Washington but his advisors said it wasnt safe because another plane was heading there.

| At least none of y'all wanna abolish the Electoral College. Then I'd have to do some hardcore Constitutional slapping.
It's good to see how so many people here find it pertient to judge how easy or difficult a job is without actually having it for a day or even an hour. You'd be surprised.
GW doesn't tell you everything, so it may LOOK like he isn't doing anything. Did you know that a pre-emptive plan to attack al Qaeda was on his desk on Sept. 10? If 9/11 were averted and he tried to carry it out, you Demokraps would yell "FATCAT IMPERIALIST CONSERVATIVE, WAHHHH" Let's hear it for partisan politics!
