Default Windshield Wipers.

Okay, as I was first getting into the groove of the night (the other night), it began to rain. This is why I am so thankful for windshield wipers. It was not quite dark (had to use my lights, though -- Mom's a stickler for them..), but not that sunny. When it began to ran, I told my mom, "I'm pullin' over," but I didn't. While driving, my mom told me how to flick them on and off and do everything I was supposed to know already. But, I still think I did a fairly good job at it for my first time driving in the rain (with the addition of it being almost dark). I was so happy I had them. This is just something I had to get out and say. Since it was my first experience, and my first time developing an appreciation for an object such as this.

Anyone else appreciate windshield wipers? If so, post a story. I love reading of other people's driving experiences.

I love them. And even better, i love ones that WORK. For the longest time i had to avoid the rain because my windshield wipers didn't work. It sucked!

I'm still not fond of driving in the rain. Once it downpoured SO hard while i was on the highway, i couldn't see 5 inches in front of me. I pulled over. Not to mention, that's the highway that goes over the river... I was really afraid i'd swerve a little bit, and end up in the river. It was scary.

I like windsheild wipers that work, but I HATE the ones that do not and make that SSSSCCCRRRREEEEE noise as they go over the glass. That really sucks and makes me want to rip my hair out while ramming my fingers in my ears at the same time. You live in VA right Errick? You know its the state law to drive with your lights on while using the wipers right?
I got pulled over once for not having mine on. Escaped with a warning though.

I like them as well.

My story: My mom bought a new car a few weeks ago. So, she let me drive it around. It was RAINING with SNOW on the side. You know...sleet...whatever...lol. Well, she neglected to tell me how to turn the wipers on. Cuz, they were not on the left side like they normally are. The button to turn them on, I mean. So, I couldn't see a damn thing, and I almost hit like 12 cars (give or take). So, yeah. All is good now. I know where the button is AND, I can successfully drive in the rain!

Winshield wipers that work are great, instead of those ones that are like not having wipers at all. I remember it was raining so hard that it was like tubs of water were falling on my winshield constantly. It was really hard to see and of course there are all these mack trucks around me. But I was fine, just a little nervous. So there's my story. lol

Great thread I made. Too bad not many people posted in it.

Thanks you guys for posting, love the stories. Glad you guys are all okay, also. *wants to go driving right now*

I want a car for my birthday. If someone is capable of making that happen, please make it happen. Thanks in advance.

Oh and windshield wiper pride! (*+*)!!
