ok, i hate Windows!!!!!!! if any of u have it you know that when u start the computer the welcome screen comes on and you choose your name and you sign on. well today a message came up about how they couldnt find my profile and they were giving me a temporary one. i'm like what the hell? and when i got on my name everything was gone!! my psp7 isnt here anymore b/c i got it off kazaa, all the things i made on psp7 are all gone too! grrrr, it just makes me so mad!! anyway, does anyone know why this happens or how i can fix it ?? please help me!!!

Sounds like either someone where you are deleted your profile or else there was a random error

Either way, BE HAPPY YOU CAN EVEN USE IT!!!!

I have windows xp too. On my computer we used to have all the names in my family on it but we had to delete all of them and just use 1. I guess it has something to do with the computers memory or something. Somebody also could of deleted your name cuz they can do that on any of the other names on the computer!

Naah... don't think it's got anything to do with the memory .

More likely thanks to critical system profile files going corrupt, maybe thanks to the system not being shut down correctly...

...closer to the truth anyways .

yeeahhh! i have had that too!! 2 or 3 times before! I was soooo mad I said all rude words to the stupid computer lol I can laugh about it now and i also got mad at all family members who're also using the computer I thought someone did it too me! but now i know why, for me the profile didnt work anymore because i was so stupid downloading something that pops up when you're on the internet...
BUT your files arent gone.. its only the profile who's lost.. all your files are still on the C or where ever you put them. I first thought they where gone, but i found out i still had them/. So just make a new profile and copy- paste the files to the new one and delet the 'crashed' one!

ok i tried tha link and i tried to copy the old profile but it wouldnt let me. it said it was unable because it might have been protected. i thought it was the password i had for my name so then i deleted the password and it still woulndt work then when i hovered my mouse over it, it said folder is empty! so i just deleted it.. i dont care, i'll start over l0l
