That sucks! I've got Windows XP as well, though only for about a month, I hope it doesn't happen to me! (I always seem to have bad luck with computers- in the first year it kept going really wrong and had to be wipt clean 3 times!)

DUDE, this is what you do- Like Raidien said, go to system restore. Go to Start, Press help and support, search "Restore", and then look on the left, and you'll see the results. Where it says "Create a restore point", create the date to about 4 days before this all happened, and then you'll see the date on the list of dates, and click that one date you made on the list, and press "restore" or whatever it says to make it restore to the date you made up, and then all the rest will continue itself. By then, I think you should be ok.

I have XP but I've never had this happen to me before
