This is my first post. It's from a discussion about Britney's choice of clothing. The thread basically contained a lot of talk about how sex sells and that Britney is using sex to sell. People said she should cover herself up. But this was, for the most part, a very mature discussion. Every now and then there was some personal bashing towards others in the discussion. When Sex Goes Pop MY FIRST POST Did anyone on this board watch that MTV special called "When Sex Goes Pop?" On that show, Britney made a pretty good comment regarding her choice of dress. The jist of it was that the way a person dresses has absolutely no indication of what kind of personality that person has. She mentioned something about a woman walking into a bar wearing a suit and another woman walking into the bar in a mini skirt. But the woman in the suit could be a complete slut while the woman in the skirt could be a lady. I disagree with the previous posts stating that Britney's choice of clothing and her explanations for it are pathetic. Personally speaking, I don't think she owes an explanation for such minor decisions. If you ask me, she should keep dressing the same way she does now as long as it is her choice alone. Otherwise, she would just be changing to make her critics happy and that would be wrong. It's all in the lyric that some of the other people on the board have been leaving at the end of their posts. Britney sings that she likes the way she is and she won't change for anybody but herself. That's the way it should be.
You have obviously just read my opinions on what has been discussed. I have not made any insulting remarks toward anybody on this board; therefore, I am not interested in receiving any insulting or negative remarks toward me in the responses. Just respond to my opinions politely. I am open to any thoughts about what is being discussed regarding Britney.
