Thank God I haven't had many painful experiences in my life, but one that I definitely will never forget is me falling with my bike. See I was like 4 years old, and all proud that I could bicycle like a "big" girl, and I even had two bikes.
One was my actual bike, and one I had gotten from my cousin who didn't want it anymore. It was an old, wait, REAL old bike. Anyways, it was mid-summer and I had invited my friend over and we decided to go bicycling. Since she didn't have a bike, me being the generous kid that I was, lent her the "rotten" bike.
Well my mom didn't like the idea of my friend getting an unsafe bike, so she made me take it (damn, how freakin nice is that!?!?!
) Anyways in the park there is a fairly big hill, and after we finished playing we wanted to go home, and in order to do that, we had to go down that hill. So there I was with this old rotten bike, going (fairly fast) down this hill. At the end of it I brake with the handbrakes and the damn bike, with me somewhat on it, does a wonderful summersault, me in the end falling flat on my face! OUCH!!! I was only wearing a thin t-shirt, but that was completely torn, and my stomach was pure blood, my face looked much like my stomach as did my knees (STILL have the scars!) And damn that HURT, I'm telling you.
