OK, from far away people look REALLY REALLY good. They're HOT HOT HOT! But then when you're really really close to their face everything changes. You can see zits, pores, everything! Plus, some people look better in a certain type of lighting. Is it just me? I think I need glasses...

umm.. maybe you need glasses.

or you just look at people's skin much to closely.

nah this is so true... the lighting is always very important... I mean they change the lighting so the people look "better" when people are making movies, music videos, modeling, and stuff like that. And I´m even happier with my look when I look in the bathroom mirror because of the lighting there but I think I´m uglier in the mirror in my room.. lol.. diffirent lighting

Oops I forgot. I wear contacts. But yeah, thanks for clearing that up... it's definitely the lighting. That's why I look different sometimes.
