You know what though? There are these wonderful countries that support child labor, that murder entire families including children, etc etc, this world is by far a perfect place. It has existed for billions of years, and we only occupy a little dot in that time frame, say 100 years max. Why would we concentrate on worrying about a subject that is arguably a bad thing for a certain percentage of world population when we can't even seem to be able to stop much bigger problems that we all agree on as being very very bad...

Bottom line, we're not saving the world anyhow. Whatever our personal opinions are, I'd say just let these women be, we got much more serious stuff to devote our attention to. You, me, Joe and his dog know how we're gonna do things in our lives, and surely we can let them decide about their own is what I say.

Adding to that, mentally handicapped or whatever people are part of our society. Why look at them as being less than us? Why look at them and think "damn! they could have much better lives!" Ever really looked into the eyes of these kids? Me, I know most of those kids are happier than most "normal" people. The less sense of what's going on out there, the more happy you can be with your life. It doesn't matter how advanced you are. What matters is how happy you are.

Interesting article on this:

Ethics campaigners yesterday criticised a 66-year-old Romanian academic who has become the oldest woman in the world to give birth.

Adriana Iliescu, who was artificially inseminated, was yesterday celebrating the birth of her baby girl Eliza Maria by Caesarean section.

But Josephine Quintavalle, director of the campaign group Comment on Reproductive Ethics, said women should be outraged by the news.

"A woman at grandmother age shouldn't be having children. I can see no justification in this," she said. The parameter is the naturally occurring menopause. It's an inevitability. I think the message should be spelled out loud and clear to women that they should accept it.

"I think women should feel outraged by this. The sisterhood has been let down when women can't accept the natural stages in their life."

Ms Quintavalle, whose group is based in Britain, said she was worried by the way fertility treatment was now being used in many countries.

"It's the whole concept of IVF. It started off as a fertility treatment for couples who couldn't conceive. It has become a technique that you can buy into whenever you like," she said.

She had a healthy baby, no? I think people need to leave that poor woman alone and mind their own effing buisness.

She just gave birth she doesn't need some international debate going on over her head.

Mid 20s.. because..

1. you'll have a good paying job (if you go to collage straight out of high school)

2. You wont have to worry about homework or assignments or anything like that. Basicly, i think mid or older 20s because of school. The thing that gets into everyones way.. lol.

Not everyone goes to college after high school. And some people who do go to college choose not to go until later...or they go to college, after college they get married and have kids and then decide to go back to further their education...

I don't feel it's right to put a cap on what age you must be to reproduce. It's disgusting enough with the laws we already have regulating things that aren't of anybody's concern.
