No, no, extreme sarcasm on my side. I guess you'd have to know my since of humor.

Yeah, it's not right to force people into anything like that. Imagine we would actually implement such a birthcontrol policy, I think if you weigh the pros and cons, it ends up just not being worth it to begin with.

So the 66 year old woman was pregnant of 3 babies, lost one after 10 weeks pregnant and lost another one right after birth... wow!
It's just wrong.

To tell someone that they can't have a child because they're "too old" is wrong, IMO. And in the grand scheme of things, there aren't a whole lot of women ages 60+ that are going out and having babies; it's rather rare. Yes, there are more health complications and more risks involved, but who is anyone to say that she shouldn't have a child? That's wrong, IMO. Also, there's been studies that link psychological disorders with the age of the dad at the time the child is concieved. It's been found that the older the father is the more likely the child is to develop Schizophrenia (there was another disorder also but I can't remember what it was). So yeah, it's not just the mother that would be at risk or just the mother that would be putting the baby at risk.

I dont think its rare. You allow one and it encourages more, think of the children. With IVF, its more likely its a multiple birth.. but oh my god. thats wrong.

I would think that the majority of older women who are having babies are having them either because they've been struggling for years to have a child or because it wasn't a planned pregnancy. One of my good friends, his parents had him when they were 55; they hadn't planned on getting pregnant, but it happend soo...yeah. But then agin, this is just all my opinion, I'm just saying how I think it would be - I'm not trying to pass any of this off as fact or anything.

Yeah I know. I guess I just know of people who have gone to England for abortions because their baby had Downs syndrome because of their age and that makes me mad. I think men should also stop fathering babies after a certain age.. It all boils down to opinions.. I guess.

I dont say people should stop having babies after the age of lets say 37, im just saying that I believe its wrong to do it. If people tried to have a baby and it didnt work, then so be it. And of course thats hard to accept, but if nature doesnt want you to get pregnant, it must have a reason.
And again, I dont think you have to think about yourself only when having a baby on a risky age. And indeed, its not about the mom only. If im correct men get a high risk of getting unhealthy babies above 50. And if someone wants to take that risk of having a child that has complications because they wanted a carreer first, I think its selfish.

With me, there could be complications and I will give it till around mid 30's and if it doesnt happen, I will accept it. Its nature and I will go with what nature wanted for me.
