Default What did ya'll do for Thanksgiving

I am at my grandparents house in Roanoke (hense different IP adress) and today we got all the Christmas stuff out of the attic to start setting up, and yesterday we ate a lot. I'm leaving to go back home to my slow computer. This one is 10x faster, so I wish my was this fast. Anyway, I hope that ya'll had a great Thansgiving. Also I was here about 3 weeks ago for some shrine stuff-my grandfather is in the shrine.

You must be in Virginia. Right? Woop woop for VA!

My grandparents came over, as well as my brother (who is coming back to live with us soon), and Dawn [his ex-girlfriend] came over late last night. We all ate dinner around 4 or 5. We stuffed our faces. My favorite part was definitely the stuffing. It was a bit too salty, though. Another thing was that I loved the turkey for once.

My boyfriend and his parents planned at big dinner at their house. I baked a pumpkin pie, which came out EXCELLENT if i do say so myself. Then we invited my mother, her boyfriend, my sister, and my grandmother over and we ALL ate dinner together, a total of 10 people. It was nice... Kinda like having a family.

Then, my sister and my boyfriend went down to my father's house and brought him dessert, and we stayed for about an hour and a half and chatted.

The holidays are so hard for me... *is holding back tears* Such nice HUGE family dinners, with 20+ people at EVERY holiday dinner. Now, it's just going back and forth between houses, and i hate it. I hate holidays, really.

Uhm we did a lot. Went over to Grandma house which was packed with hell of a lot of people. I mean there was at least 15 people there. So all the woman were racing around the kitchen getting stuff prepared and putting their last finishing touch on alllllllllllllll the food. So when everything was done at 2:00pm everybody sat down and ate. Yummm :licklips:. So after 2 and a half hour when we were all done eating me and my mom made tempora cheescake (May I add was very tasty :liplicks and it was a big hit. So at 5:30pm we were all done with dessert (which also inlcuded two whole pies) We celebrated great-grammie 88 birthday with cake. then at 6:30pm we were are relaxing. People watching footbal, some smoking, a lot were all around talking to each other in the den or parlor. People were everywhere. Then I fell asleep and went home . Im still paying hell for eating so much and Im starting my diet again. I love the holidays!
