Wendy was made into a ditzy woman who seemed weak when in the book she was strong. And then the ending.. don't even get me started. Quote: Originally posted by Swany I dont know if you've seen the more recent version. The STEPHEN KING version. It was a 3 part Mini-series on ABC back in 1997. They just released in on DVD last January. Stephen Weber played the main character, and Rebecca Demornay played Wendy. Anyways, it is a good movie. | I'll have to rent it. Does it follow the book closely? I hate movies that stray too much. |

Wendy was made to be MUCH stronger than she originally was, and its just all around a better movie. And its 6 hours long, so they didnt really need to cut anything out either. It's much better IMO.
And Wendy in Stanley Kubrik's version, OH MY GOD, that scene with the bat as she slowly walked up the stairs, OH I wanted to SHOOT that scene. |

People kept telling me what a scary movie it was, but I was laughing at the damn thing. |

| I'm reading "The Country of Pointed Firs" for my Lit. class and then on my own time I'm STILL in the process of reading "Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix" *lol* My summer was crazy and it led into an even crazier fall, so I haven't really had much time to devote to Harry |
