Yeah I guess stuff like these backgrounds - http://www.grsites.com/textures/paper001.shtml - which are 'paper' ones - or ones like their wood ones - http://www.grsites.com/textures/wood001.shtml - the lighter ones I think would look good.

I've gotta go to bed, my eyes are gonna pop from looking at the screen too much heh, thanks for your help anyway.

Alright I've updated the game with some better backgrounds now (only updated the 20kb version so far). I also remembered - Andrew (or anyone) if you want you can change the background of each level to whatever you want - just overwrite the back1.gif, back2.gif files - back1.gif is the background for level 1 etc. Just make sure the files are 30x25 pixels otherwise it'll look weird. You don't need to recompile the program, just run it again.

yeah, i have already seen those five pics, maybe i will change em...i am sorta fine with those 5 backgrounds...just change the fourth one

btw, i am really sad cuz of that with suzy and i wish ya the best as well, can only be a hard time for u as well....can u do me a favor?...if u know anything can u PM me...thanks

Played it a bit again today... and... umm... this is how my
screen looked after beginning a new game after having lost
all my lives:

But the new backgrounds... looks good (better

Also a nifty feature with the increased speed on keyhold

Thanks guys... yeah I thought the fourth background was the worst too but I'm not really up for working on it atm.

Yeah Andrew I'll post anything I hear in the 'important' thread about Suzy for everyone so don't worry.

Soren - that is majorly weird dude... not getting the problem with anyone else.

Yeah I liked the speed increase thing too.

it in 1.2 and I'm running it with 1.4.1?
