| Urgh... I need some help. | | There's this National History Day competition, maybe you've heard about it. IT's where you do a project on something in history relating to the theme. And I've done it 3 tiems before and failed miserabely. This time I want to do an acting thing with a group. And this year's theme is Taking A Stand in History. I'm not asking anyone to do research for me, but if you recall ANYTHING in your learning from anywhere in the world ant any time period (except today) where the theme of Taking A Stand in History fits, please tell me. I'm still trying to find a good topic and trying to avoid the big ones of war and revolution and so forth. Unless there was a small revolution somewhere that is worth mencioning. So if anything pops in your mind, please tell me. |

| I'll look into the Russian Revolution thanks Brandon!
The others, i think are too popular topics. I want to do something more small. |

Maybe you can base your project around the ideas of Karl Marx or something. I don't know what's acceptable for the project, but when I do these kinds of projects, I like to do the ones outside the box. I usually try to find loopholes in rules like "No Revolutions or Major Wars". |

| Fortunately, he doesnt have rules, its his own personal rule, so I guess if it came down to it, but yes, events leading up to is an excellent idea. If you want to emphasize a certain event that led up to it, find one with the most facts and the most interesting points - if ya bore people, well, it'll suck lol. |
