The movie was supposed to take place on the USS Constellation which is a CV 64 and the top side shots in the movie were of the USS Nimitz which is a CVN 68. My dad was like "That is not the Constellation, that the Nimitz" My dad designed them so he can just see them in a movie like that and he will know what ship it is. The ships are both out of San Diego though. Here are some pictures.
