The thing is, we have many different religions. And each religion has their own stuff. That's why a lot of things count for their religion only, and not for the general folk.
Halloween though is a purely American thing.

Those are the most important ones. There is a variation in the General days as well. I.E. some do not celebrate Christmas, but St. Nicholas instead. Others don't do St. Nicholas, but Christmas instead. Then you have those who do both. This example isn't religion based, but moreso money based, as both events involve presents and many find it ridiculous to do that twice in one month.
