| So.... whatdya buy today? | | Well today is the biggest shopping day of the year! "Black Friday" as the retailers like to call it. I was sorta mad. There wasnt as great and outstanding deals as least year. The crowd was at least 5-10% less. But it was still hella crowded. I scowered and got my self the Simpsons 4th Season on DVD for 20 bucks with tax. It was advertised at 17.77 at Target but EVIL SALES TAX! The evil part was the hot glue on the back of the box wouldnt come off and now i have an evil sticky spot! grr.... We got a CD Burner with DVD rom drive for 30 bucks. Got a 17 inch flat color monitor for 50 bucks. Virus scan for free. 2 XBOX controllers. 100 discs of DVD-R's for only 6 bucks! There wasnt as great deals as last year prolly caus Walmart didnt have big discounts. So the other places didnt need to compete that much. We were gonna wake up at 5am and go to Foley's for the $15 off card thing but we were too tired from thanksgiving. At 7:30 we headed out to Circuit City to find that what we wanted in wireless was gone. I was mad too caus last year they had like every cd there was gonna be 10 bucks or less. This year every cd was 12 dollars or less which wasnt that great. I saw GREAT deals for Britney's My Prerogative. I wonder if anyone bought them. I wanted to go to JCPenny to get a free snow globe but we didnt. We got one last year though. Best Buy was crowded as usual with people waiting the night before but it wasnt as bad as last year caus they opened more lines up for different purchases. Last year i waited in line for 4 hours! Just to get one thing discounted, The Simpsons 1st season.. Only 11 bucks! But that was last year, when there were big deals. Well so did yall go out and buy? |

| The freakin' DVDs in Target were for $8.88, thats reallllly cheap. It was weird, we had hundreds of "Garfield" movies and they sold out in two hours. I was surprised becasue that movie never really appealed to me, I guess I should check it out.
I got to work at about 5:40 and there were people waiting in their cars and as soon as the first lady went upto wait in front of the door, EVERYONE got out of the car and formed a huge line. Man, those people are crazy! |

| I usually dont do the shopping simply because i hate to be runover by all those soccer moms trying to buy $14 dvd players.
anywho, i wait until the middle of the week when most people are working in the morning and do all my xmas shopping in one day, mostly gift cards for everyone because its easier and faster and that way you pick what you want at the store. |

| Lol yea I been waiting for a thread this week. Well first me and my mom went to Saks Fifth Avenue to check out the 40% sale but the selection was crap and there wasn't really anything that great so we left. We went to Macy and there were a whole bunch of clearance racks everywhere so we tried on everything, I left empty-handed my mom got a cute DKNY shirt for $13 bucks yea!. We headed to the perfume place and she got Dolce and Gabbanna Light Blue for $90 in the kit with the body wash, we also got the free candle holder which we're giving away lol. We than went to Dillards which has nothing at all. I went to FYE and got my brother Shrek 1 and 2 for $30 together. My mom got him some game for $40 but its like 3 games so I guess its ok. I than preceed to Guess where they had this huge sale and I got two awesome shirt for $20. Than on Saturday me and my mom alone went to Lord and Taylors since she said they also had a sale. I got myself a black turtleneck sweater for only $10 and also got my mom two shirts for $30. We than went to the first floor of Lord and Taylor and thats where we spotted this cute Polo for $10: score! But when she tried it on she got lipstick on it but we got it anyways. And today: Sunday: We went to Ross where I got her some gold lame (lam-meh) heels for $13 and Sketchers for $30. Than I went to Goodwill where I got myself a suede and leather keepall for $2! Uhm total: $288.00. Uhm wow, and thats after we got everything on Sale. Oh well I had fun except for taking 21058203958 hours to find a parking space and arguing with my mom every minute <3 |
