| That is so rude! | | [Edited]
I never knew this thread would lead to such trouble! Let's just drop this topic, I already know those who agree with me, and those who don't. I don't want those who do and don't to fight anymore. Thank you.

I am aware that the attacks happened the worst in New York, but it's just so dissapointing and rude that people only care about New York. I mean, attacks with the planes happened in other about 2 other states! And in my school, people were like "I feel bad for New York after the attacks. I am glad it didn't happen anywhere else!" Well, what about the other states that were attacked by the planes? UGH IT'S JUST SO SAD WHAT SOME AMERICANS ARE SAYING... | There were no other states Attacked. Washington DC, is not a state, and the Pennsylvania plane crash doesn't count as an attack, per say New York's was much more devastating, extreme amounts of lost life. DC's isn't unsignificant, but surely you can see why the focus is more on New York, and I see nothing wrong with it. It's not "rude." Then again you think EVERYTHING is rude. |

| well I must see everything a different way! The was I see it, it was an attack on the United States...not just in new york, washington DC or pennsylvania. It was an act of terrorism against the american people. Some people in my school see it the way I see it too but u guys probably don't. |

| it's not rude necessarily it's just typical....people talk about the biggest impact of an issue...like 9/11 NY was worst so that's all we talked about...it would be the same anywhere |

| I think the whole thing is stupid. A few thousand people die from 2 air planes and two falling buildings. Mean while over in other countries little kids and adults are dying of starvation, war, parasites, aids and more.
Get over the sept. 11th shit and move on with life. On Veterens day do you see tv channels swamped with footage from years and years ago. The way this shit is going in 2030 we'll still have everyone getting down in the dumps with overflowed news broadcasts about something stupid 29 years earlier.
My opinion. Ridicule me if you must. |

| Meighan! i couldn't agree with you more!
why is okay for thousands of other people to die every year from the horrors taking place in the middle east, third world countries, etc.. but as soon as *american* life is involved, it becomes first priority to mourn?
dont get me wrong, what happened on 9/11 was tragic, and im not trying to say it was no big deal, but the world outside of america is full of pain and suffering that most people cant even comprehend or even choose to acknowledge...

| I don't know about you two, but I choose not to prioritize loss of life. They are all equally as shitty as the next, so don't go around ranking the worth of the life of an American or an Albanian.
And you say us imperialist yankee baztards don't really want equality...riiiiight.
