Get over the sept. 11th shit and move on with life. On Veterens day do you see tv channels swamped with footage from years and years ago. The way this shit is going in 2030 we'll still have everyone getting down in the dumps with overflowed news broadcasts about something stupid 29 years earlier.
My opinion. Ridicule me if you must. | then again if something as devastating as sept 11th happened in canada and we said what you just did, you'd flip. a lot of people happen to like their country. we're not responsible for the fact that people cannot control themselves nor take care of their own countries, but the US among others do help what they can. you don't just 'get over' shit like that, either. it's only been one year. |

I could really care less. Call me idiotic, emotion-less, or a bitch for all I care. The simple truth is that I just don't give a flying-fuck. |

There were no other states Attacked. Washington DC, is not a state, and the Pennsylvania plane crash doesn't count as an attack, per say New York's was much more devastating, extreme amounts of lost life. DC's isn't unsignificant, but surely you can see why the focus is more on New York, and I see nothing wrong with it. It's not "rude." Then again you think EVERYTHING is rude. | But I am saying why don't we remember the other people who got killed?

why is okay for thousands of other people to die every year from the horrors taking place in the middle east, third world countries, etc.. but as soon as *american* life is involved, it becomes first priority to mourn?
dont get me wrong, what happened on 9/11 was tragic, and im not trying to say it was no big deal, but the world outside of america is full of pain and suffering that most people cant even comprehend or even choose to acknowledge... | I dissagree. Face it, it's rare that a plane just crashes into a builiding or into a feild and get's hi-jacked. But it's so common that people die of starvation or any of that stuff. And the news isn't going to do a big story on every person that dies of a disease, starvation, ect.

But I am saying why don't we remember the other people who got killed? | each region will remember their tragedies, like here for example, ,we lost 6 firefighters in '99, and this December we will remember again, a local celebrity has a charity hockey game for the families, now do people in Montana have this? no, because it didn't happen there |

Alright everyone, let's just drop the 9/11 topic. This has grown to be nothing but a fight. And by the way, Kay_Bee8, that's cool that a LOCAL celeb has a CHAIRITY hockey game for yall to remember people.

| well *I* think that, from your opinion, it can be seen that you are immature and ignorant.
okay, so just because its so COMMON that people die of starvation or "any of that stuff" it means that its okay? is that what you mean?
basically what your saying is that the only tragic things in the world are the stories that make the news, be it because they're "rare" etc.. well wake up, girly... maybe if you stopped rolling your eyes so much, you could see more clearly..
i think you missed my point completely.. but i thank you, because by doing so, you provided a perfect example as to what i was talking about.... people who turn a blind eye to the pain and suffering in the world and live in denial...
