Default So.... did you go shopping today?

As you know in America today is Black Friday or the biggest sales of the year day where everyone wakes up erly to stand in lines. Luckily I finally diverted the evil Best Buy long line where for the past 2 years I've spent 5 hours in because they didn't have much good deals this year. I went to Radioshack and finally got a new desk shelf stereo for 30 bucks. I went to ToysRUs to catch a deal on a Bambi DVD only to find that they were so unorganized and I couldn't make heads or tails on where anything was. I don't think it was even grabbed up. Maybe they never stocked it... I even went to Fry's who had it for 8 bucks to find that this time it was all snatched up. Damn consumers. Oh well. We got a toaster oven. Yay. So I hope you enjoyed Capatalism Friday!

Well, it wasn't Black Friday for Canada. Our big shopping day is Boxing Day (the day after Christmas).

Yup. It's when everyone's trying to get rid of the stock that they got in for Christmas. Couple years ago, I bought an aritificial Chrismtas Tree... excuse me "Holiday tree" *kicks politicians* that was originally $85.00 for 8 bucks. EIGHT BUCKS! Future Shop and Best Buy usually have crazy deals too. Wal-Mart kind of sucks for Boxing "week" but, hey, they try.
