You know what? Alot of people like the post count. So why don't we just keep it? People are going to count how many posts they have by looking in thier past threads. And when you change your name for 1,000 posts, I think it's fun. I mean, it wouldn't be fun having 1 post and being able to change your status. I have an idea, anyways. How about if you only write "lol" in your post, your not allowed to post it because your message length isn't enough. You half to have at least 7 words. That would keep people from just writing "lol" or "k" in thier posts.

And what I mean by my idea is that you know when you post too many words and a little pop up tells you so? Well how about if you write under 7 words and try to post it, a little pop up pops up and tells you?

how about using the edit button if you have something to add to your post and no one's replied yet?

anyway. about your idea...there's no longer a 7-word rule. and if there is, i should hope people know how to count words for themselves.
