Sharon Osbourne To Undergo Cancer Surgery, Two Ozzfest Shows Postponed

_Sharon Osbourne, the wife/manager of metal pioneer Ozzy, will undergo surgery to heal an unspecified but treatable form of cancer, according to the Osbournes' publicist. She's expected to make a full recovery.
The operation, which is taking place Wednesday (July 3), prompts the postponement of the first two dates of Ozzfest — originally scheduled to begin Saturday in Bristow, Virginia — as Sharon's immediate family (Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Ozzy) is at her side at this time. Ozzfest 2002 will now begin July 10 in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Thats sad that she had cancer. I hope she gets better really soon.

Sharon rocks. No one deserves any kind of cancer. But usually, for the stars they find a similar type "cure" to what they have been using for the past few years when you hear about people surviving through cancer and such. Celebrities like her usually get better treatment than for people with little money (which is not the case with Sharon). Oh well, good luck for her.

I just came to check the replies on this topic, and Sharon suddenly came on Access Hollywood and they talked about the cancer story. Just thought I'd share, lol.
