What do turning on your lights have to do with 9/11? All it does is waste ur battery. And in daylight, no one can see them. And even if they do it's just going to glare in their eyes.

Driving with your lights on (full beam) non-stop is hazardous....and i agree, what use is that in the daytime???? Surely this isn't an official 'thing' to show respect... people can do that through silences.

driving with lights on is something people do when they're driving to a funeral. supposed to show solemnity or something? i don't know.

it's more hazardous to drive with lights on at night; during the day, you can't see headlights that are on...but at night, it's all dark out except for a buncha bright lights staring you in the face...and i dunno bout you, but i can't see a damn thing when a gazillion people have their brights on at night.
