When Sarah won the gold medal, I was like: "Okay, how did SHE go from 4th place, to 1st place all of a sudden, when Slutskaya was first place and then went to second?? It just didn't make sense. If the tables were turned and some Russian went from 4th place to 1st place and won the gold you all would be upset...Admit it! So yeah, I think that what the Russians are doing is justified. It's only fair if the Canadians got to have a gold medal too. It's only fair. Maybe if we hadn't made such a BIG deal about this gold medal scandal with the Canadians and the Russians, maybe the Russians wouldn't think something was wrong with Slutskaya's loss. Now they ALSO want the Gold... (But the Canadians skated perfectly.. so they definitely deserved the Gold. I don't know why they had to "share it". But here, Slutskya messed up... so I don't think it would be fair if SHE also gets the gold.) |
