I took a look in the mirror today,
and hated myself in a horrible way.
My ears are too big and my nose is too long,
every inch of me seems to be wrong.
My thighs are so fat and my hips are so wide,
and nobody cares who I am inside.
Mom says I'm pretty but I know she is lying,
and I think she just says it to keep me from crying.
Whenever I eat I feel like a whale,
and I fit that description when I step on the scale.
Boys always laugh when I ask for their time,
so instead on a Friday I sit home and wine.
To tell you the truth I'm alone and I'm sad,
my diary's the only true friend that I have.
It hurts me to know that I never will win,
I'll always be outside just looking in.
