It's been a long time...
I just got finished reminiscing after finding a cool function called "Find all threads started by Ephrils". A lot of things have changed since I stopped being a regular here. I may have been gone so long now even word of me is nonexistant
For those of you familiar with my posting style I'm sure you're aware I don't like off topic posts, and rarely do them. If it's Britney related, put that off topic stuff where it belongs!
Well, that's what I'm doing.
Don't worry, my feelings about Britney are intact, whatever the current circumstances of her life. I'll reserve my feelings about Kevin here, that's not what this is about.
To justify this post, to yall and to myself, some background is necessary. Some already know it, but I'll repeat anyway.
I really got behind Britney because I believe in her. I believe in her talent, her ability to peform, and the lovable girl we all fell in love with. From the moment I saw her I saw a spark to succeed, to be the best she can be, and a drive that I had never seen before in anyone. Britney has unmatched talent in her field and I knew it, I could see it. She had so much potential way backthen to be great. This brings us to now, nearly 7 years later I think. Britney has accomplished more than I could ever have dreamed. Ten million albums sold for BOMT, a streak of #1 albums, record breaking concerts and specials. Life has far exceeded any goals Icould have eve set for her. Britney was the person everyone wanted to be. Success like her's may never be duplicated ever again.
I did posts to support Britney, which some of yall are familiar with, for a long time all throughout Britney's rise to the top. I wanted people to see her the way I did. Britney is an amazing woman. So, by now you're probably wondering, "Why isn't this in the Britney forum?" Honestly, this isn't about Britney.
An actress on
Smallville, Kristin Kreuk, caught my attention one day. I was only curious in what they were doing with the Superman mythos when her pressence struck me. Her eyes were deep and soft, and she was soft spoken. She has an exotic look that's very unique. I had the initial male hormonal attraction yes
but that's not what kept me watching this show. The world is filled with beautiful women. Kristin is a very talented actress. She's mastered things A-List actors I see every week at the movies still don't have down. Her
reacting is incredible. So you can see her, and give a slight break:
Kristin has the same potential I saw in Britney to be really great. She fell into the acting business, and still has plans to go back to college. She is well aware this may be a short ride. Most might remember her as "Fiona" in
Eurotrip, the girl referred to in the song
Scotty Doesn't Know, but that movie did little to showcase her abilities. She's very level-headed, grounded, and sweet. What's most interesting about her is that she doesn't seem to know how talented she really is. Kristin can have a career as long as she wants, so long as she wants it.
I know all I can do is peak your interest, I can't make you research her and actually watch the work she has done. I'm still very much who I was with Britney. I believe in the girl. Kristin has the talent and ability. If my past support of Britney means anything here, trust me, Kristin Kreuk is something special.
