Default Is it possible to burn a cd that will work on ur dvd player.

Hey every one. I wanted to know if it is possible to do that. U see i want to burn a cd of videos. There is an option on nero for a vcd cd aka a video cd. I heard that is when u want to burn a cd that will work in a dvd player. I was wondering if i needed a dvd burner to burn a cd that will work in a dvd player or will a regular cd burner work. I want to be able to watch the videos on my tv when i put it into my dvd player thanks for ur help.

A normal CD-writer should be sufficient to burn VCDs for use
in your DVD drive... has been done before, so it should be
possible to do again .

That is not true

You have to have a newer CD burning program to make VCDs! A while ago i had no clue how that shit worked and i kept putting the MPEG files on the CDs and it would not work! lol i took back my dvd player cause i thought it was broke!

Now that i got the hang of it though it is cool, i made this britney VCD with all the videos, titles of the videos, and edited out tags (at the end of videos and begining sometimes)

Well... of course if you just ''copy/burn'' the files onto the CD
as one would normally do with files, it won't work... but if you
choose to burn a VCD... it ought to work... at least it has for
many people prior to this...

Before anything you need to make sure that your dvd player will recognize vcds, once you have that check out, you can burn them in your normal cd burner.
