Plastic Surgery? - Eternal Allegiance

My mom just got a tummy tuck and lypo and I was wondering if anyone one the boards has ever done any type of plastic surgery. Just curious about how the pain was, recovery, etc. :]

Nope, not going to do that. Seeing as I wasn't originally made of plastic, if I want to change something, I do it the old fashioned way.

Makes for a much more natural result, and as opposed to surgery, instead of coming out weak and defeated on a bed with bandages everywhere, I come out strong and proud of my accomplishments.

I wouldnt do it either unless its medical needed. Like women who have heavy weighted breasts and get so much pain in their back that they let them become smaller by surgery. But I wouldnt just do it because I think I will look pretty or something. I think its so wrong to want bigger breasts if you have nice ones yourself.. just because you think people/man will think that's hotter. It's such a wrong thought. Also, I agree that getting fat removed the normal way: get yourself some exersize, is the best you can do. Surgery isn't something natural and there are lots of complications that can go with it. Not every person will react on it the good way and there is always a chance it goes horribly wrong.

But hey, if people wanna do it, I wont stop them at all!

Well I see no problem in doing it. If you have the money and want faster results, go ahead. A lot of people down here in Miami do it so I'm pretty used to it. :]

Not everyone looks at it that way. I would have a boob job. I don't want BIG huge boobs, but I'd like to be at least a 36 B instead of a 34 A. And it's not even that I think guys would want me more, I get compliments as it is. It's something I personally want to do, I'm not even taking into consideration what other people would think.

As for getting lypo just for the hell of it because you have the money...it's a temporary soltuion. Yeah, they take the fat out but uhmm...it can easily come back. And then 5 years down the road you need to have it done again and so on. If you're that worried about your body, do something about it, exercise. Get off your ass and do some sit ups. Surgery can only fix it for so long.

I ment it in a way of: if you have nice breasts, why make them so much bigger. If you have a size A I can see why you want a B. I just dont get girls who have a C and want a D or E or F.

*shrug* People just have different images of what they want themselves to look like. I don't know. I agree getting boobs THAT big is a little overboard, but yeah...I don't know.

I would totally get plastic surgery. In a heart beat. Theres so many things I'd like to fix. I want a boob job, I have a B I want to be a C at least

As for lipo, there are some spots on the body that its near impossible to lose the fat from, so if people want to go ahead and suck it out, I see nothing at all wrong with it.

Honestly the only people I ever hear from about how plastic surgery is so 'wrong' are people that are naturally really busty or pretty and they are scared that others will steal their spotlight or something.

Theres nothing wrong with improving yourself

As for the original question, recovery times are specific to the individual.

Anyhow, I don't believe in unnecessary surgery. There is no such thing as a completely safe surgery and people have died due to complications from a cosmetic procedure. Even the best doctor cannot fully prevent things like blood clots breaking off.

I just don't understand why people can't accept their bodies as is. At least with a size A cup, you can go braless and wear those cute tops. And the smaller you are, the bigger the selection of the better looking bras and clothing you can wear. And if you don't look busty enough in something, they you can wear a push-up bra.

I guess it's a grass is greener on the other side thing.

Alex, I dont know anyone who had a plastic surgery before but I guess the recovery time depends on ur mother!

also depends on "how she was after the surgery".

as to what I think about the whole deal! I dont like plastic surgery and I think it wouldnt matter to me if ur nose is big or your boobs are small. not even if u were fat!
