Plastic surgery... would never to it, maybe unless I was in an
accident or something, where I got all messed up... then I'd
probably take it into consideration... but to improve on what
I've got/havn't got now... naaah, don't think so...

But then I realized, we all have "temporary plastic surgery everyday"...when we comb our hair, brush our teeth, get braces, contacts, put on makeup, etc. You're changing your apperance (even if some are required to just be sanitary, lol)...

Now, I don't wear make-up...ever. I don't understand how people can and maybe when I'm older I might, but right now, why bother? But...that's a mask. It enhances the beautiful points of your face. It is like plastic surgery.

As much as I agree with you guys about beauty being on the inside, many people (and I emphasize many not all) don't think that. They only see what's on the outside at first, before they even give you a chance to show who you are. But, not being a beauty queen myself (far from it, actually), I know how it is being not even close to what the ideal is (American at least). People treat you differently. The opposite sex treats you differently. It's unfortunate and unfair, but that's the way the world does work at times.

So, would I have plastic surgery? As much as I dislike certain features of my own, I would never do it. That's not my style. However, I would support it if one of my friend's did or anybody for that matter. You do what you need to do in this life to be at peace with yourself, and if that means you need to have an acceptable image, than do it.

Just remember, we all lose our charms in the end. :smirk: And that the people who are truly the most radiant and beautiful (Ghandi, for example) prove that it has nothing to do with the outside. Not that Ghandi isn't sexy. :-p
Very well said hon
