I'm a Christian, and I really think this "monument" thing is really unnecessary. Why do people get off on these types of things? Sure, he may be an example in their eyes, but this structure doesn't need to be made at all. I mean, that's just total corruption of character, destroying his whole personality and life by defaming him in the meanest light possible. That's just messed up, in my opinion. If I were a priest, I'd be concentrating more on things relevant and not a story from the past, though his memory surely lives on. This makes me upset to even be put in the same category as this man. He's a disgrace to the name.

I don't see a problem with it. While it's ignorant and repulsive, they have a right to, just like it said, erect a monument exposing views of other religious and political views/opinions.

Wouldn't it be money better spent on the school system or to prevent violence? I don't see the point of that thing. These are exactly the reasons why I am no longer a Christian... such intolerance. Whatever, they can screw up their images as much as they want.

that's by far the most ignorant thing, gosh.. I am so disgusted by it. it's bad enough that they showed up at the boy funeral with flyers saying he is in hell and he deserved to died. give me a fucking break now they want to put a momument someone needs to slap the shit outta him/ them..
