From what i understand the monument is being put in an area where the city cannot touch it so a petition is pretty pointless. I don't mind these types of bigots to be honest because i always figure they do more to help the other side than their own. heh

Kinda related, but did anyone else see the show "The Awful Truth" with Michael Moore? There was a segment where he gets a group of gay guys in a bus called the "Sodommobile". They were going to places where sodomy was illegal and one of their stops was to break up a Fred Phelps protest. LMFAO

The ignorance in this world makes me laugh...its pathetic. Its to the point where it doesnt even bother me (im gay and its just...funny). Its HORRIBLE....but the fact that people make such a big deal over two men sleeping together, or having a relationship...is pathetic. Ive delt with Bible Thumpers telling me im going to burn in Hell....but im happy with who i am...and i believe in God...and MY GOD...doesnt discriminate.

I am gay too and it is a big deal to them cuz they are scared and dont understand. Bible thumpers are funny it is sooo funny to hear them say all that stupid stuff. I dont belive in god but it has nothing to do with being gay. I made up my mind about it at like 10.
