Well, i think the taboo of eating cats and dogs is more cultural than anything else. I myself am a recovered vegetarian . I found that the faux burgers and things like that were disgusting. I would much rather have the real deal. I don't have a problem with killing animals for food as long as the whole animal is used. I am against wasteful killing like killing elephants just for their tusks. But, with cows, we use the hide, meat, and bones. I don't think that being a veggie makes you necessarily healthier, after all you could eat French Fries all day and still call yourself a vegetarian. As for being vegan, if you can do it more power to you, i know i can't. Animal products are in alot of things that you would never suspect like Jello or multivitamins. I personally don't care if someone is a vegetarian or vegan or whatever. Just as long as you don't preach to me when i eat a burger or try to throw paint on my fur coat. | You Made So Many Valid Points! Now I Remember Why You Rawk Kat! Everything I Eat, I Get From The Organic Stores, So I Know Theres No Animal Products In What I Eat! Even My Vitamins! And You Wouldnt Have To Worry About Me Hating On You For Eating A Hamburger, I Cook Them For My Mom And Dad All The Time. Its They're Choice, And Even Though I Dont Believe In It, Im Not Going To Let Them Starve! There Is Such A Thing As Taking It Too Far.
I Dont However Agree With GetNasty Calling Veggie's Stupid. That Was Just Rude! |

| I guess there are a lot of different opinions on this issue... so i guess i'll state mine, too
I have a lot of respect for vegetarians and vegans! That takes a lot to do what they do.
I don't believe in killing animals just to kill. But it's in the bible that it's okay to kill for food. And that's all i believe in. Only kill if you are going to eat it. And for no other reason than that one.
I lately have been cutting out almost all meat. But i will admit, i'm weak, and i have a hard time cutting it out completely. And as for being vegan, well, i'll admit that too, i don't think i could ever ever do it!! Not eating ANYTHING from an animal?? ANYTHING?! No eggs, milk, etc... i just find it impossible. But lots of love to those who DO do it!!! |

Its Sweet And Creamy And Tastes Great In Cereal Or Chocolate Milk! Rice Milk Is Grainy To Me! |

Why call us STUPID? Some vegetarians think it is healthy, and some just think it's not right to kill animals for our nutrition. There is sense behind being a vegetarian.
| I'm sorry if I offended you in any way, but there have been studies to prove that people who don't eat properly the way humans were designed to eat ie)meat, vegetables and fruit are far more liukely to get illnesses and diseases and suffer from ill health. |
