I think it'd be cool to have no subtitles and see how much people actually get it. Latin *shivers* I don't think that there's another person in this world who dislikes that language as much as I do.

I do know one person though who, if she watched the movie, would probably be CORRECTING the Latin all the time. She's a genius.

Well, I'll probably download it. I'm just curious.

Just to let everyone know, the movie IS subtitled. Mel didn't want to use them originally because he thought they would take away from the films meaning, but in the end they decided to use subtitles anyway.

As for the film...it's gonna be crazy! At the theater where I work we've already presold close to 5000 tickets for the movie and it's sold out pretty much this entire week [starting on wednesday and going through sunday]. Not to mention we have like 5 rentals for it on Saturday which means we will have to take OTHER showtimes for different movies out so we can show this movie...we're getting 4 prints of it but we'll be showing it in like, 6 or 7 theaters. I'm dreading going to work on Saturday...

I might see it, haven't really made up my mind yet. I'm not all that big into religion so I don't know if I would enjoy it.

The movie sounds boring to be honest. From what i read it is Jesus twitching and dying in a pile of blood for a few hours. Personally, i think there is a better way to spread the Gospel than showing Jesus bleeding out of every orifice. Why not show his whole lifestory rather than just the last hours of his life? He did more than just die.

I think it would really be close to impossible to make the movie in Aramaic. How would he even know how to translate the words? No one would even know if it's even close to accurate. I dont agree with that. Plus, doing it without the subtitles, is just stupid in my opinion. Why would anyone pay to see a movie where they wouldn't understand one word that was being said?

Hmm...either way, im not watching this movie, i dont have the slight interest in it. I'm A Muslim, i believe differently.

lmfoa they do.. its callde Jesus of Nazereth. that movie is 6 hours long. My cousin has it. i told him ill never spend a quarter of my day watching that. uhh,

The only feature about this movie that gets my attention and interest, is the presence of Monica Bellucci.

I just got back form the theater form seeing it and ...WOW. It's really graphic. With the blood and all. It's an amazing movie. There was applause in the theater when it was over. It'll keep your eyes on the screen from beginning to end.

Look for this one to be up for Movie of the Year from the Academy(if they know anything) and I can see it continuing to be played for years and years down the road.
