I finally saw it. And I'm glad I saw it. I wanted to see this. What I can say is, the movie reflects the cruelty of mankind. And it's true what the movie says. People, are savages. They were then, and they are now. People can deny the existence of Jesus all they want. But people cannot deny the existence of the cruelness that came upon him.
It's not about whether or not Jesus existed, or whether or not God exists. It's about the color of mankind's own soul. Human beings have two sides inside of them. Good. And Evil. We have been given the freedom to choose our own path. Behold the birth of the criminal. heh
One would think that all the cruelness that was inflicted upon Jesus would forever silence the cruelty in mankind itself. But people like Hitler existed throughout the generations. And still to this day people are being tortured and crucified. Concentration camps. They still exist. People are dying as I'm writing this.
One would think that after all the cruelty that was inflicted upon Jesus, mankind would have learned by now. Mankind. No. The cruelty lives on.
And a movie like this makes us realize that truth. Some people don't care. They cut down on this movie because of their ignorance. Ignorance is also what drove men to do these things to a man who brought nothing but peace and kindness to this world. Believe it or not, but everybody knows that the truth is the savage within us. Don't think Jesus is the only one who went through this. Don't think he is the only one who matters. It's not about him. It's about us. The people.
Everybody who claims to not watch this movie because they are no believers are missing the point. This is not to persuade one into belief of anything. This is merely to confront one with the stone cold truth of reality.
Whether you're interested or not, it's a good part of the education. For one day, you'll be confronted with it for real. |
