I have Kazaa. Yup damn the spyware, killed my computer big time. But it's either Kazaa or nothing.

During the installation of KaZaA, you can choose what to install. I deselected everything that didn't have anything to do with KaZaA.

I did that too.. and..

First Q': it worked good without the extra apps!! at least for me..

Second Q': nope.. do U know where can I download an Ad-aware?? if I run it in my PC.. will it erase KazaA??

As for Ad-aware... you can download it and an updater @ http://www.lavasoftusa.com/ -- and when you've run it and it's scanned your computer... it provides you with a list over found adware/spyware components, which you can then select/deselect to remove...
