| I guess it just depends on the context of the nakedness? For example it's hardly appropriate for a young teenage girl to go to school dressed in skimpy, revealing clothes. However, take that same girl and put her on a beach, now it's appropriate to have not much on because, afterall...it's the beach. Or say a girl in college goes to class with a skirt, high heels, flashy shirt...most people would look at her like she was crazy. Take that same girl and place her in the bar later on that night and all of the sudden, she's not out of place anymore. |

Either way, no matter what location, people are going to be looking at your body. It doesn't change anything. |

| I did some thinking about this topic, and I came up with the idea that maybe they do it because they are insecure about their own intelligence. They want to be noticed, but they fear that their brain isn't enough to be noticed, so they turn to their bodies. Maybe it's not to compensate for anything, though. Maybe they just feel it's the best way to get guys to notice them. You can't really say they're crazy for thinking that. Guys do tend to give off that impression. |

And keep in mind that just because someone dresses a bit more sexy doesn't necessarily mean that she's insecure of herself or her intelligence (in reference to Brandon's comment). I think it's one thing to dress sexy, revealing but yet still staying on the safe side as opposed to wearing something that is just down right trashy looking and. Some people go overboard and bear everything. Others know how to balance it out a little more...sexy skirt, a more modest top. sexy top, cute jeans. There are ways to show skin and not be flaunting it everywhere. Or maybe I'm totally wacked out on my line of thinking here...forgive me, it's been a horrible day and I'm rather tired. I may not be making sense...? |

| I don't understand why this only relates to females. Why is it ok for men to reveal skin or be naked or have there tops of but for women to reveal skin is wrong?
Edit can someone also show me whats supposed to be a revealing outfit or a woman not covering up.. thank you. |

| i pretty much wear what i wanna wear, what i like and what makes me feel good and sexy. its not so much for me "liberating" - its just me. Althou i do get off of being controversial.
althou i think most women do it for attention, and to feel good/sexy.

You still see that with some women with a certain religion. They have to be all covered up cuz the man is afraid her body will make other man want that woman too. And sometimes the woman choses for that type of clothing herself, but I think being in that religion it kinda forces people too. But I could be wrong, it's just how I see it.
Anyway, I do think some women are showing off too much skin. But it's not always the amount of skin, it's the way they dress themselves. I wear tops and skirts, but I make sure I don't look trashy or show the 'i know im hot and want man to stare at my breasts and/or behind because i want all the attention' look. I don't like my breasts hanging almost out of my top and I don't like super short skirts where I don't even have to bend cuz people can see too much already when im just stading straight up.
I do not like it because I think it's selling the body. Some man DO see woman as objects and I do not want to be seen as 'that woman with this or that type of body' I want to been seen as a whole, not only the outside. And I've been in situations guys didn't even care about me personally and as soon as I notice that, I point them the door. And if some women do wanna be seen that way, or do not care, then that's ok with me. Im just not like that. |

You also see a lot of younger Turkish girls step out of those ways and begin to wear T-shirts and stuff. |

But most of the time, they didn't grow up in Holland. And think about it's not even that hot in Holland compared to the country they come from! |
