Well, my best friend has a problem. She has no money at all (it's a long story... her mom lives in a foreign country and NEVER sends her money and she lives with her aunt, but she doesn't want to ask money from her aunt) and she's been depressed about it for weeks. Well, the problem is that it's her boyfriend's birthday on Sunday. So she needs to give him something that doesn't cost almost anything, but still is something.. You know, special. We tried to think of something, but we have no ideas, so could anybody please suggest what she could give her boyfriend or do something with him for his birthday?

well, first of all I hope she gets through this and maybe find a part time job? it'll help her alot

and for the present.. I dont know what to suggest but I think she can make a unique card with a small present like a scarf ? or wristband ore something

I agree with Stone Cold. Handmade presents are always the best since they are truly from your heart, and express your feelings towards that person in a way no mall bought present could ever grasp. Starting from scratch to make presents always means you spent more time on the person, which is a good thing for sure, too!

As Bedo said, cards are always a great idea to start with. I know I love it when a boyfriend makes one for me because it's just so much better than a cheap and useless Jewel card. Even if it's horrible, it just means that much more to me. Art skills don't matter. It doesn't have to be great. Just make sure what's written in it is honest and pure. Oh, and sugar coated doesn't hurt, either.

One present my sister and I gave to our mom for mothers day was a homeade scrapbook full of our pictures together... from our oldest pictures to our newest pictures. It was about fifteen pages on just regular colored paper with a few pictures on each one. Make specail and funny captions under each picture, and draw little designs on the pages to make the book look fun and cool. Your friend could always try that. I know it meant a lot to my mom, and I would love it if a boy would do that for me, too.
